Reports from the Void: 'That Incident Made a Believer out of Me!'

The Singular Fortean Society received an email in early February of 2019 that read:

In 2004, around 4 p.m. and on a clear summer's day, my friend and I witnessed a white, cigar-shaped object, no wings or tail fin, going east to west. Around this object was a haze...like you see on a hot day, rising from the asphalt. It then turned an auburn color and it disappeared. That incident made a believer out of me!

Investigator Tobias Wayland responded to the email and asked if the witness was available to be interviewed regarding their experience, but no response to that request was ever received.

The location of the sighting is unknown, and no geographic, weather, or flight plan data was able to be reviewed to either corroborate or explain the sighting.

Reports from the Void is a repository to share those stories for which we do not have enough information to make a full report. This is usually because of little or no communication from the witness following their initial submission. The Singular Fortean Society will always provide as much information as possible regarding any correspondence during our attempts to speak with those involved.
