Vampire Hunters

Vampire hunters played an important cultural role in every society beset by these nocturnal nightmares.  If such a hunter found a corpse that appeared to be faring particularly well in its coffin, he might decapitate it and stuff its mouth with garlic, or pin it to its coffin with a stake driven through the chest.
