Texas UFOs posted a video to their YouTube channel recently that featured footage submitted by a resident of Keller—near the Fort Worth area of Texas—which shows a white, cylindrical object hovering in the sky.

"A recent video showing a white, rod or cigar-shaped UFO hovering in the sky over Keller, Texas on November 18th, 2018 at sunset has been submitted to TexasUFOs. What do you think this video shows? A cloud, plane, balloon, or...aliens???" asked the UFO-themed site.

According to the witness report the object remained stationary throughout the event.

Took these photos and video today at sunset. It was the oddest thing I’ve ever seen. Sorry the video was so shaky. I was zoomed in really far. I watched it for about 20 minutes. It didn’t move. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything in the sky stay that still before, not even for a few seconds, let alone 20 minutes. I just thought I was going crazy and there must be a logical explanation so I eventually just left. I had been out taking photos of the landscape and sunset so by that time I was freezing. Now I wish I had stayed and watched it. I never heard a sound or anything. It was just so incredibly still. And from a distance I originally thought it was a cloud but once I zoomed in with my camera lens I noticed it had a more reflective appearance. As I was driving home I called my husband who suggested maybe it was a weather balloon, but once he saw the photos and video he was also stumped.

The stationary nature of the object has led to speculation of everything from the sun reflecting off of an unusual cloud to a blimp hovering in one spot.

"Hey everyone, for those suggesting blimp, that is a reasonable explanation, however the witness described that it was still for 20 minutes. I could also not find any 'cached' internet results that showed that the Goodyear blimp was scheduled for Keller on November 18th, though I am trying to get in touch with Goodyear to see," said 'UFO Jane' in an update on November 29th.

The object could also potentially be light reflecting off of a glass surface through which the footage was shot, but it is unknown whether the witness was in their car during filming.

So far the video remains unexplained.
