Nessie Sightings Rise To The Surface In Scotland's Famed Loch

Gary Campbell of the Official Loch Ness Monster Sightings Register has confirmed that sightings of Nessie are at their highest since the year 2000.  So far in 2016, there have been seven sightings of the elusive creature.  According to Campbell, this has been a "fantastic year" for sightings of the beast, and he credits new technology like webcams and smartphones for the increase in reports.  This year marks the first time that two different observers have witnessed Nessie in separate areas of the loch on the same day, and multiple witnesses have reported viewing the cryptid via their webcams.

“It means that there are more people than ever before looking for Nessie - which would explain the rise in sightings,” said Campbell.
