Utah's Department of Transportation has 1,150 cameras dispersed across the state to monitor traffic, and the above eerie image was recently recorded by one such device.  The image was captured on February 7th at 8:44 p.m. on part of the Soldier Summit mountain pass in Wasatch County.

The image appears to show some sort of humanoid walking along the road.  The image is inconclusive, but has sparked speculation across social media.  Some observers wonder if it might be a supernatural creature, like a ghost, bigfoot, or even chupacabra, while still others look for a more mundane explanation.

"That's a tree," said one anonymous poster. "It looks creepy but it really is light reflecting off a tree. Take a day pic at this location."

Skeptics have further speculated that the image might be of a person dressed for winter weather, complete with ski mask.  It is unclear what they might have been doing on the road at that time.
